Alice Cleveland Browne, daughter of John Dean Browne and wife Frances Cleveland, Sister of Virginia Francis Browne and wife of Frances Redford Cleveland.

            Mr. Francis Rexford Cooley was graduated from Yale college, New Haven, Conn., 1886. Residence, Hartford (1898); dealer in investment securities. Mr. Cooley is a member of the Society of Colonial Wars in the State of Connecticut (being lineally descended from Lt. Samuel Smith and his son, Lt. Philip Smith, both of Hadley, Mass. — these the “fighting ancestors ” — and from Capt. George Cooley), and also a member of the Sons of- the American Revolution (a progenitor, Colonel Timothy Robinson, having participated in our war for independence).
